I love the smell of Sunblock and Chlorine.....

I know, I know.....I am strange....but that is one smell I can't resist!

I feel like I have neglected Logan's Summer vacation....for many different reasons. One being that I am pregnant and haven't had the best time this go round....alot of up's and down's and not really feeling up to "playing around" all Summer....for other reasons, I won't go there. Some of you that are around me often probably know the other reason our Summer has been taken over and consumed.
Life will be back to normal soon, I hope.....

Logan goes back to school in 8 days! How depressing! So, this week I have been trying to do things with him that won't totally wear me out, and keep me close to home in case we have to make a mad dash to the hospital! Today, Logan chose Splash Zone (hence the talk about sunblock and chlorine). I LOVE the smell of the swimming pool! I know, I am crazy, but it just reminds me of how sweet Summer vacation is. I am NOT a fan of Winter, so when I smell sunblock it lightens my mood. He had a great time today, wish Chad could have been there to enjoy it with him. I don't have a maternity swimsuit, so I stayed in the shade under the big umbrella's for over 3 hours!

We also had a trip to the park this week, and I would love to get him out to Kokomo Joe's before school starts, but that is more a "dad" thing! I think Chad needs to be there for that one!

Tomorrow, I really need to clean out Logan's toy box and closet! I know that is no fun for Logan, but it needs to be done before Braeden arrives.....and I do like to give Logan some input on the toy pitching!

Baby shower....thanks again ladies!

So I thought I would post some photos of my baby shower.....since I want to show my appreciate for everything these ladies did for me! I do have one regret, we got NO photos together girls! Thank you...Jaimee Marcee, Robin Southern, Robin Lawyer, and Cheryl Shephard. I truly appreciate everything you did for me! Braeden is going to appreciate all of these efforts!

And a huge thanks to all my guests and everyone who has given me a beautiful baby gift! I truly appreciate it!

I think I have an addiction....to cameras!

I really think I have an addiction with cameras! Every couple of years I feel compelled to go out and purchase a new camera....even though....there is NOTHING wrong with the one I have!

I can easily justify my addiction...some people have an addiction to cigarette smoking (oh, what a waste of $$), some people have an addiction to alcohol (i hate that day after feeling), some people have an addiction to reading books (i can't stay awake long enough to read a book).....get it? Well, I guess I like to spend my money on cameras....and scrapbooking when I get time! Chad thinks I am crazy, but it is just something that I have to do to keep up with technology!

So, I believe I am selling mine now and going to get the one I have wanted for a while now! Baby Braeden is well on his way and I know my hot-shoe is going to be hot! ;-0
I cannot wait to get photos of Logan and Braeden together!

Confessing to my Lack of Interest!

Okay, so I have decided the Elk Prairie Doodles blog is just not as important to me as I thought it would be. :-(
I have enough trouble keeping up with my website to enjoy working on a doodle blog! However....I do love my family and enjoy keeping in touch with friends and family! I want a place to share our family memories and photos with everyone, so I have decided to change my blogging efforts to my confessions as a stay at home mom!
